Spyderco - Military Model- Black G-10/ Plain Edge
An uncompromising field knife, ready to face a varied repertoire of uses. Intended as a survival/field folder, the Military Model has a slender G-10 handle resistant to impact, chemical contact and heat/cold. A linerLock is nested (recessed) into the G-10 for a thin profile. Nesting provides superior lock strength permitting a thinner, lighter knife. Minimal back spacers between the scales make it possible to rinse away accumulated field dirt and grime. The C36 has an eccentric pivot adjustment for wear and an offset arc ramp for secure lock up. The blade is a modified clip-point shape with a forward belly and flat-grind made of CPM-440V. With 2%+ carbon, CPM-440V blade steel remains sharp for protracted periods of time. An enlarged opening hole and machining on the blade spine are an added advantage if you're wearing gloves. Sweeping in a contoured line with the handle, is a black metal pocket clip anchored with three screws around the pivot pin for tip-down carry. Manufactured in Golden, Colorado.
